Exactly what this feature reads, what it writes, and how to switch it off.
Travelers plan trips around commitments that already live in their own calendar. Connecting Google Calendar puts both in one place: the events already in your Google Calendar appear on your My Plan itinerary, and the itinerary items you create on Hiddengem Thailand are written back to your Google Calendar.
Nothing is connected until you press Connect with Google on My Plan and approve the request on Google's own consent screen.
We request a single Google Calendar permission, https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events, which covers calendar events only.
We also receive your name, email address, and profile picture through standard sign-in scopes (openid, email, profile) so the connection can be shown against the right account.
We do not request access to Gmail, Drive, Contacts, Photos, or any other Google service.
We read the events on the calendar you connect, within a limited window around today, so they can be shown on your itinerary. For each event we store the title, description, location, start and end time, time zone, all-day flag, and the Google event ID used to keep the two copies in step.
Imported events are private to your account. They are never shown to other travelers, guides, or vendors, and they are marked on your itinerary as coming from Google Calendar.
We create and update events in your Google Calendar for itinerary items you added on Hiddengem Thailand — bookings, planned activities, and personal trip entries. Each one is written once and then updated in place if you change it here.
We do not delete, modify, or reorganise events that we did not create.
Google access and refresh tokens are encrypted before they are stored and are used only to run your own calendar sync. Calendar content is never used for advertising, never sold, never shared with third parties, and is not used to train machine learning models.
Open My Plan and press Disconnect. That revokes our access token with Google and deletes every event we imported from Google out of your Hiddengem Thailand itinerary. Events we previously wrote into your Google Calendar stay in your Google Calendar, where you remain in control of them.
You can also revoke access at any time from your Google Account permissions page.
